SANY JP100 Fire Truck Sets Guinness World Record For Highest Water Jet

At the 21st China International Fire Equipment Technology Exchange & Exhibition held in Beijing from October 13 to 16, 2025, SANY Heavy Industry unveiled its JP100 high-rise firefighting truck, achieving a Guinness World Record™ for the "Highest Water Jet by a Fire Truck (Prototype)" with an impressive 159.66 meters.

The JP100 is the world's first five-axle, hundred-meter-class high-rise firefighting vehicle, featuring a six-section telescopic plus three-section folding composite boom, enabling operations above 100 meters. Equipped with multi-stage centrifugal pumps, the truck delivers a rated flow of 50 liters per second, with a maximum reach exceeding 70 meters. Its innovative five-axle chassis design reduces the total weight to 54 tons-10 tons lighter than similar vehicles-enhancing mobility and stability.

The JP100 also integrates a specialized remote control system, allowing a single operator to handle all functions, dramatically improving firefighting efficiency. This innovation addresses challenges in protecting high-rise buildings, commercial complexes, and petrochemical installations in rapidly urbanizing areas.

The exhibition attracted over 1,200 companies from more than 40 countries and regions, showcasing a record number of domestic and international participants. SANY demonstrated 26 emergency rescue products, reflecting China's growing technological strength in fire and rescue equipment.
